Find Joy in The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Christ
“… men are, that they might have joy.”
2 Nephi 2:25
One of my favorite scriptures in The Book of Mormon is 2 Nephi 2:25. It’s such a simple and short verse, but tells us so much about God’s plan in a those few short lines. His desire for us – His purpose for us – His whole plan revolves around us – having JOY. It’s the reason He sent us here!
What drops of joy does The Book of Mormon bring to my life?
- It gives me a sense of guidance and direction
- It teaches me of Christ’s Atonement, and that knowledge brings me peace
- It teaches me of His love for each child of God
- It connects me to the Divine
- most importantly, by living the teachings within it, The Book of Mormon helps me to work towards my divine potential to become who He wants me to be
