We’re now on quarantine day …. 25? 255? I’ve totally lost count, but I know it feels like way more than it actually is. Trying to keep track of days is crazy. Some days feel long and others fly by. Some days things feel surreal and other days I feel like I’m getting used to this “new normal.”

While this whole quarantine thing has had plenty of challenges, I’ve also seen so many blessings.

My teenagers are home more.

We play more games.

We eat dinner together as a family more.

We’ve been spending more time together.

I know that it won’t last. The challenges will change, and so will the blessings. And someday we will look back on this time and this will all be long in the past.

Living in History

We’re living in history right now. And it’s important to record it! I hope that someday when my children look back on this time and share stories of it with *their* children it will be a time that they remember with fondness. I hope they remember not only the crazy and hard parts but the good parts, too.

I created this Quarantine Journal to help them record all the unique things that this time has brought us.
