Can you believe that General Conference is just about two months away?! I feel like it was just yesterday that we had the fall Conference, where we learned about the changes with the new youth program and heard the new YW theme for the first time. But really, it’s been several months and the April 2020 General Conference will be here before we know it.

President Nelson’s Invitation

In his closing remarks of the fall 2019 General Conference, President Nelson issued an invitation for each of us to “prepare for a unique conference that will commemorate the very foundations of the restored gospel.”

Have you accepted President Nelson’s invitation? Have you started studying a personal study of the restored gospel? If you have, that’s great! If you haven’t started yet – there’s still time! I know I just said Conference is *just* two months away, but it’s also *still* two months away. It’s all in the perspective, right?! It’s not too late to start your preparing right now.

I really wanted to study the Restoration in more depth, so I created some printables so that I can put down my thoughts as I study. Because – you know –  I love printables!

I’m sharing these in hopes they can help you in your preparing for April General Conference as well. This is part one of a two-part workbook that can help you as you study the Restoration – the “glorious light of the Restoration” as President Nelson calls it.

Joseph Smith History covers so many different events of the Restoration. These printables include verse by verse sections for you to record your thoughts on each event as you study. As I read through JSH and pondered on all the events that took place, I was able to find many insights that I had never thought of before. I encourage you to take a fresh look at these verses and look for new insights of your own. As you seek your own personal revelation, the Spirit will help you learn what YOU need to know to prepare for General Conference.

Be sure to watch for next week – I’ll be posting a couple more printables that will get you thinking deep as you ponder the additional questions in President Nelson’s invitation and apply those questions to your own life.

Conference always leaves me feeling so uplifted, and I’m looking forward to making this one an unforgettable experience, as our Prophet has promised it can be.
